Required QA checks for Translators

Hello,

I will email you directly as well for this request, but I thought I would post it here as well for possible discussion.

Would it be possible to add a feature that allows the controlling user to set-up certain required QA/validation checks for the translators to run before they are able to finalize and return their translated files?

We were also wondering if there may be a way to setup the default window view for .NET applications to display both the WYSIWYG and strings for the translator when they start up the application. Or some way to add a pop-up requiring the translator to view and select that they have completed a WYSIWYG review before returning their files.

Basically we are looking for ways to help guarantee that a translator has done their job properly and not missed the visual review and validation review steps of the translation process. I do not think this is something that should always be required, but it would be nice for the translation project holder, to be able to set-up custom requirements for the project being sent out.

Thank you,
Megan

Re: Required QA checks for Translators

Hello Megan,

Thanks for suggestion. We'll add an option to force selected validation checks for translators. We also consider changing of preview mode to display it permanently.

These features will be available in the next version.

Best Regards,
Michael

Re: Required QA checks for Translators

Hello!

I am also interested in something to guarantee QA. It would be nice to have something like a "Print Preview", but with all the dialogs, so it would be possible to scroll down throughout them.

Thank you.
