Post Handling apostrophes in javascript
Maybe I'm missing an easy solution here but I need to escape apostrophe chars in localized javascript files (c'est). If I attempt to precede them with a backslash in the translation, Lingobit (v8.0) won't build the resource. It also won't allow me to save a translated string enclosed by double quotes. Neither solution is optimal anyhow as it would pollute the translation memory. Any suggestions? I can't be the only one who has run into this.

Thanks!
Brian

To answer my own question, the solution is to double-backslash the apostrophe for each translation (c\\'est). Lingobit will generate the .js file with the correct escape char (c\'est). I don't set this in the translation memory in case that string is used in a .resx file as well.
