Post recovery from a lost rc2 file
I worked yesterday on extracting strings in one project and thought I was finished and saved the project then found that I had missed a couple of strings.
When I restarted Lingobit extractor it gave a benign looking message that it couldn’t load the rc2 file. I exited and restarted it again and got the same message. I looked and the rc2 file was right where it was supposed to be so I continued and Lingobit extractor overwrote the existing rc2 file with one that only has the 2 strings that I missed.
This all happened in one day so my automatic backup didn’t have a chance to save anything. Now I have 50+ files that have been modified to use strings that don’t exist.
Does Lingobit backup those files anywhere? Is there any way to recover?

Hello.

Yes, Extractor creates backup files. They are named by adding "~" to the original file name.
Sorry for error. But we still can't reproduce it.
