Post Generated assembly must be signed. Delay Signing used.
After I build the DLl I get this message: Generated assembly must be signed. Delay Signing used.
What doet it mean and what can I do about it?

What do I do with the dll that is created?
It is placed in a subfolder called nl-NL but when I start the application, it's not translated.
I have dutch Windows.
Thread.CurrentThread.CurrentUICulture is set to nl-NL
Do I have to do %systemroot%\System32\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\program\en-ie\dllname.resources.dll"

I also get this message:
Run-time exception thrown : System.Resources.MissingManifestResourceException - Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture or the neutral culture. Make sure "App.Workflow.resources" was correctly embedded or linked into assembly "PresentationCore" at compile time, or that all the satellite assemblies required are loadable and fully signed.

Please help!
Thanks.

Thank you for question.

Your original assembly is signed, therefore it is required to sign localized assembly. You can configure .NET signing at Properties>.NET>Satellite Assembly Output. It should solve all other mentioned problems with .NET localization.

Best Regards,
Michael

Michael, Thanks for your answer.
I am creating a plugin for an existing application. That's why I don't have the keyfile to sign the assembly with. And I'm sure those developers are not giving me that! So I think that I can't use LingoBit for my specific need without having the key-file?

Hello.
You can use delay signed satellite assembly.
Just switch off verification using sn.exe tool with -Vr option.

You can read more about delay sign here:
