Extractor Hangs on Certain cpp Files

I am having serious issues trying to import a large C++ MFC code base into the Extractor tool so that I can move the string literals into resource files for translation. The tool will hang when it gets to certain files, which requires killing the process and starting over, being careful to not click on that file again... I'm not sure what it is about those files (I don't believe there's anything strange in them), but in any case, this has slowed down the process to the point where it would probably be faster to do it by hand.

Re: Extractor Hangs on Certain cpp Files

It appears the issue is a "\" followed by a carriage return-newline in the actual code file.

"The record you are trying to modify has been \n\
saved to the..."

Extractor is choking on that "\" at the end of the line in the file.
