Post subject:  Renamed Source Files

I need to rename all my source XML files (150 of them), and want to do this in such a way that I don't lose the connection the Lingobit Project has to them and the translations that have already been provided.

What is the easiest, safest way to do this? Thanks.

Copy from my answer by email:

There are several ways to do it.

1. Change source file location for each file in project. It will work
if you don't use folders.
2. Leave old way of naming before localization. Add new target
language for English and export it with new template.
3. Export all translations to translation memory, create new project
with new file names and import translations back.
4. Export translations into CSV file for each target language. Change
file names inside CSV file and import it back into new project.
